Van driver/ carpenter/ bench joiner
1 x van driver / carpenter / joiner – vehicle is lwb and position may include some overnight stays – When not delivering / work will continue at the main depot.
The company are a state-of-the-art industrial unit. Must be qualified for the position available.
Available Position:
We are recruiting for a van driver, carpenter. and bench joiner all in one you will need to have all three of these skills in one.
1. Van Driver
- Responsibilities:
- Transport tools, materials, and completed joinery items to sites
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks
- Assist on-site when required
- Requirements:
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Punctual and reliable
- Good knowledge of local routes
2. Carpenter
- Responsibilities:
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on various construction sites
- Fit doors, skirting, architrave, and general site joinery
- Interpret drawings and follow specifications
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in site carpentry
- CSCS card preferred
- Own tools and PPE
3. Bench Joiner
- Responsibilities:
- Workshop-based role creating bespoke joinery (windows, doors, cabinetry, etc.)
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Work from technical drawings to high standards
- Requirements:
- Experience in traditional and modern joinery techniques
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
